My Favorite Cocktail
Everybody loves a martini every now and then, they are cute and easy to make yet pack a lot of punch. But what about learning to creating the martini? Not everybody can afford going to the bar for a cocktail, so why not learn to make it for yourself?
Martinis are perfect for any occasion, rather if they are just for a girls night in or just for yourself. There is no reason why you cannot have a martini when you want one. Plus they have so many types of Martinis out there, it is hard to not want one.
Don?t forget to look up online all the types of martinis out there before you make them. You might get ideas for new ones or you may find one that catches your eye. So be sure to take a note pad and pen with you, when you look them up!
So what do you need to make that cute little martini that you are dying for? Well you need a few items first. A martini shaker and martini glass are in order for you to make them, along with alcohol.
You also need plenty of ice, vermouth, gin, fruit juice or flavor if you like and some kind of garnish to top it off with. Salt for the rim of the glass is optional and not required. Don?t forget to keep them locked away from kids and pets
Try out different types of alcohol and see which ones you prefer. With so many options out their, you may find a brand you like better than the others. Also try to mix alcohol together and see where they leads you.
Put the ice in the martini shaker and pour some type vermouth in it. Shake well with ice and pour it into the glass and roll in it the glass to coat the inside well.
Pour gin and whatever you use to flavor them into martini shaker and shake hard to get it mixed and cooled. Dump all of the contents in martini shaker into the martini glass, including the ice and whatever else you put in it.
Add the extras or garnish you want to add, and enjoy your hard work. You might even host a martini party after you find that perfect martini recipe. After all, one cannot not share a great martini.
Most of all though, you should be able to enjoy your martinis and have fun while making them. Without fun and laughter, they lack a key ingredient to them.
